The big thing about iPhone is no publisher is not dificult to determine what kind of players will be buying games for it. Will it be softcore gamers who want to find driving games and shoot-lovers, or more flippant gamers looking for a quick fix?

Gameloft is placing its bets on the latter – as a minimum with its launch names for the App Store. It is Gameloft who brings Chess & Backgammon Classics to iPhone.

You can meet the iPhone’s features both in chess and backgammon gameplay. In chess, you need to shift pieces by pulling and falling them with the touchscreen, picking between 2D and 3D views of the board. Meantime, for backgammon you need to shake the iPhone to roll the dice.

You can choose a game with an appropriate level for you. Of course, artificial intelligence is great, but humahs are clever. It is in your strenth to complete any level. Meanwhile, you have in your disposal three modes: Instant Play, Quiz and Classic Games.

You can buy Chess & Backgammon Classics today in the App Store for £5.99.
